Congratulations to our 2026 School Leaders
We are proud to announce our 2026 School Co-Captains, Isabella Tranter and Sophie Nicholls, who in their speech said “We are ready to represent the School with gratitude, passion and joy. Thank you for trusting us with this opportunity. We won’t let you down.”
The ceremony was a true celebration, filled with music from the Bel Canto choir, Oath of Office, A Leader’s Prayer, and the symbolic passing of leadership from our 2025 Captains and Prefects to the 2026 team.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the 2025 Captains and Prefects for their dedication, spirit, and the positive impact they have made on the school community. Their legacy will continue to inspire the leaders who follow.
Congratulations to our new student leaders as they step forward into this important chapter of their Firbank journey.

Stay and Play
Firbank’s Stay and Play Playgroup is a fun, welcoming space for children under 4 and their parents or grandparents.
Guided by our Early Learning specialists, each session is playful, social, and gives a glimpse into life at our Early Learning Centres. Come along and join the fun at our Brighton or Sandringham campuses.
Firbank Swim School
Swimming all year round ensures children keep their ‘feel’ for the water and continue to develop skills and confidence. Those who stop swimming during the winter months often fall behind as they have to spend time catching up on skills and redeveloping their swimming fitness.
Swimming during the winter months offers significant mental and physical wellbeing benefits for people of all ages.
The Firbank Swim School offers swimming lessons 7 days a week, and the competitive squads swim and compete all year round. Several of our Firbank Aquastars squad swimmers have already qualified for the Winter Victorian Short Course Swimming Championships.
