Thank you for considering Firbank Grammar for your child. We are delighted that you would like to join our school community.

What you need to know before enrolling:

• Firbank offers exceptional education from ELC to Year 12, plus Boarding.
• Tour Firbank | We recommend all families tour of Firbank as part of their application process. This is often done prior to completing an enrolment application. However, you can submit your enrolment application then book a tour.
• Starting in ELC | We are currently taking applications for 2027 and beyond. Children must have turned 3 years old, be toilet-trained and fully vaccinated prior to commencing. 
• Intake years | Our key intake years are ELC, Prep, Year 3, Year 5 and Year 7.
• Outside key entry years | If you are looking for a place outside our key intake years, our Admissions team invites you to email them regarding opportunities for a place prior to submitting an application.
• Firbank Alumni | To show our support for past students, the application fee is waived for children of alumni.

Once you start the enrolment process:

• Application | Complete the online application form, upload supporting documents, and pay the $200 non-refundable application fee.
• Waitlist | Your child will be added to the waitlist.
• Review | Prior to the offer process, you will be asked to provide your child’s recent school reports and NAPLAN results (for school-aged students) to be reviewed by the School.
• Provisional Offers | Our offer process for intake years will commence approximately two-and-a-half years prior to the year of entry. Offers for non-intake years will occur the year prior to the date of entry.
• Interview | All students are required to have an enrolment interview prior to commencing at Firbank. Depending on which year level the student is being considered for, the interview may occur before or after receiving the letter of offer.
• Acceptance of Offer | Formal letters of offer are sent via email. Acceptance of the offer includes returning the completed and signed offer contract, and paying the $2000 non-refundable Confirmation of Enrolment Fee in the specified timeframe. Provisional offers made prior to the enrolment interview, are subject to the successful enrolment interview.
• Confirmation | Following a successful interview and receipt of the acceptance documents and fee, your child’s place will be confirmed via email.
